What started out as an idea for a tattoo about transition was quickly dropped for a more suitable application. Such as tote bags and wall prints.
While it didn’t quite work on skin, the idea and sketches evolved into a series of illustrations. The graphic black and white with pops of bright yellow brought a great visualization for all kinds of merchandise.
These aren’t tryptichs per se. They aren’t in three separate pieces, but they are three times as wide as the square illustrations. I wanted to add to the fun and create a full set, so I made a wide illustration showing the growth of the basic stages of a dandelion, along with two quotes.
